Digital Content Manager

Job Location: Bangalore

Requirements

  1. At least one year of experience managing content for medium to large websites.

  2. Preferably Post graduate degree in English, communications, public relations, media studies.

  3. Knowledge/experience with the Internet segment preferred.

  4. Must be digitally savvy with a thorough understanding of digital media platforms and applications, including social media marketing, SEO/SEM and mobile.

  5. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers as well as work well across functional groups. Good probing and listening skills are necessary to uncover needs and opportunities.

  6. High skill level in MS Office products specifically Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  1. To write/edit articles, website content pertaining to digital media specific to higher studies in Germany.

  2. Understanding of SEO/ Target keywords and how search engine and indexation works.

  3. Copy edit and proof read all web content. Oversee freelancers, including, writers, copyeditors and other people who work in the team.

  4. Build and maintain website content on a day to day basis, in terms of homepage and all category page and all key pages.
